See How Much UK Govt Spent On Queen Elizabeth II Burial

According to Newsmen, the UK government has revealed how much the funeral and associated ceremonies for Queen Elizabeth II cost.

A total of 162 million pounds was believed to have been spent, and the state funeral, which took place on September 19, 2022, came after a period of national mourning during which hundreds of thousands of people paid visits to the Queen while she lay in state at Westminster.

The largest expense was provided by the Home Office and the Department of Culture, Media, and Sport, at 74 million and 57 million, respectively.

The anticipated expense relates to the Queen’s funeral and other associated activities, such as the lying-in-state of the monarch.

Following the queen’s passing, King Charles III was formally crowned on Saturday, May 6, and a Coronation Concert was held in honor of the occasion on Sunday, May 7, 2023.
