According to Newsmen, a video that surfaced online showed Peter Obi entering the courthouse, greeting everybody, and then taking a seat.

Justice Haruna Tsammani, the court’s chief justice, set the application’s decision date for May 22.

Recall that Obi and his party had requested that the tribunal’s proceedings be broadcast live on television in a document filed by their attorneys and represented at the hearing’s resumption on Friday by Awa Kalu (SAN).

The respondents in the case, however, requested that the tribunal reject the application.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), through Mr. Abubakar Mahmoud (SAN), Mr. Kashim Shettima’s and Sen. Bola Tinubu’s attorneys, Wole Olanipekun (SAN), and Mr. Lateef Fagbemi (SAN), filed a motion opposing the request for the live broadcast and requesting that the court reject the application as it was a strange one.
