By renaming a federal government building after Goodluck Jonathan, President Muhammadu Buhari has paid tribute to his predecessor.

On Tuesday, the president of Nigeria effectively opened three bridges, three secretariats, and one road project that had been planned by his government.

To save money on office space rent, the federal government constructed secretariats in the states of Anambra, Bayelsa, and Zamfara.

The President claimed it was intentional for his government to make infrastructure development a top priority in order “to create wealth and make poverty alleviation easier.”
