Nnamdi Kanu, the head of the Indigenous People of Biafra, urgently requires ear surgery, according to Biafra agitator Simon Ekpa on Wednesday.
He claims that the torture-related ear condition he had has been bothering him in his left ear.
“MNK has instructed me to let Nigerians, Biafrans and all human rights organizations know that the ear condition, which was inflicted on him as a result of torture has been disturbing him on his left ear,” Ekpa wrote on his Twitter account in order to make this information public.

Ekpa said that the Department of State Services had verified the need for immediate surgery since he was in excruciating agony and was unable to sleep.
“The DSS has finally brought a doctor, which confirmed that urgent surgery is needed because he is in severe pain and couldn’t sleep again,” he added.
