The Muhammadu Buhari-led administration pledged that the Nigeria Air plane will travel to the Nnamdi Azikiwe Airport in Abuja before operations began.
In order to fulfill all the promises made by the administration in the aviation industry, the national carrier, which is now in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, was presented in Nigeria’s colors.
Remember that the jet will arrive in the nation today as part of the procedures to start operations and reveal the delivery process, as Hadi Sirika, the minister of aviation, had announced on Wednesday.

The national carrier, according to Sirika, would be announced by President Muhammadu Buhari before May 29 and will start operating before the Buhari administration ends.
The aerotropolis, the airport city, which is 60% finished, is the sole unfinished component, the minister pointed out.
According to the minister, the foundation has been laid, and work on the airport city is expected to be finished by the following administration.
The Federal Government, he continued, is leaving the aviation sector in a better state than when it arrived, having completed more than 90% of the road map for the sector.

Despite numerous obstacles, the Presidency has claimed that Nigeria Air will revolutionize the game when it is finally formally launched.
The proposal will revolutionize the game, especially for international travel, according to presidential spokesman Garba Shehu, who was speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily on Thursday.
Shehu stated that the local Nigerian airline operators’ court issue, which has since been resolved, was what prevented the Nigeria Air project from moving further.
He said: “The Nigerian process has been up for a very long time. In all eight years of President Muhammadu Buhari, there is no policy memo on anything that has done the zigzag that Nigerian Air has done.

“At least seven times, it came before the Federal Executive Council before finally it was let go.
“Just when everything was set and for the airline to start, domestic Nigerian airline operators went to court and they got an injunction that says that Nigeria Air must not fly. This held up everything until barely a week or two ago.”
Shehu said many Nigerians will profit from the project while complimenting the aviation minister for his tenacity in seeing that the airline is realized.
