Breaking: Tinubu Appoints Akume SGF, Gbajabiamila Chief Of Staff, Hadejia Deputy CoS

Senator George Akume, a former governor of Benue State, has been named the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), according to President Bola Tinubu.

Additionally, the chief of staff and Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila was appointed the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President while Senator Ibrahim Hadejia, a former deputy governor of Jigawa State,as the deputy chief of staff.

Director of Information at State House Abuja, Abiodun Oladunjoye, released a statement announcing the appointment.
The President made the announcement, per the statement, while speaking with the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) in the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Akume was the immediate past Minister of Special Duties, under former President Muhammadu Buhari.
