Festus Keyamo, the former minister of state for labor and employment, praised Amobi Ogah, a leader in the Labour Party (LP), for his praise of President Bola Tinubu.

The President was praised by Ogah, the member-elect for the House of Representatives representing the Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency, for calling a meeting with the senators-elect and representatives-elect of the 10th National Assembly.

Ogah was delighted to meet the President before the National Assembly’s opening on June 13 in a statement following their Thursday meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Ogah went on to say that he had no idea that the President was so “intelligent” and ready to serve the nation, highlighting the fact that he had witnessed Tinubu’s love and devotion for Nigeria.

Keyamo responded via his verified Twitter account on Friday morning, saying the LP member-elect’s remarks demonstrated that politics was over and that serious governance had started.

After the 2023 elections, the former minister said, “the nation is now one and the people are now united.”

He wrote: “Politics is over and serious governance begins. It’s now one nation and one people. The Labour Party House of Representatives member from Abia State just displayed that spirit.”
