American Movie Star, Treat Williams, Dies In Motorcycle Crash At 71

Treat Williams, an American movie star known for his work on the films Everwood and Hair, has passed away following a motorbike accident. He was 71.

Barry McPherson, the actor’s 15-year agent, informed PEOPLE on Monday evening that the actor had passed away.
His death occurred this afternoon. He was about to make a left or right when an automobile suddenly cut him off. I’m just inconsolable. He was a very kind person. He has such talent,” said McPherson.

From 2002 to 2006, he was the lead of the television series Everwood and was nominated for two Screen Actors Guild Awards. He was nominated for three Golden Globe Awards, two Satellite Awards, and an Independent Spirit Award.
