Tinubu Renames 15 Airports After Buhari, Usman, Awolowo, Others

President Bola Tinubu has renamed several federal government-owned airports after important Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari.

The news was revealed in a memo signed by Mrs Joke Olatunji for the Director of Airport Operations at the Federal Ministry of Aviation on June 1.

According to the memo, which was made accessible to journalists on Monday, President Bola Tinubu renamed the airports “as part of aviation sector reforms.”
