Buhari denied reports that he was fleeing the nation and living in exile.
Buhari, speaking through his former media assistant Garba Shehu, said the allegation was false because he had returned home to Daura, Katsina State.
Shehu said it was false to say former President Muhammadu Buhari had ‘fled’ and was in ‘exile’ when he is now at home with his family in Daura, Katsina State.

“Every platform has tools for verifying any information, and we don’t expect anything less,” he explained.
Buhari recently traveled to London to relax. He met with President Bola Tinubu during his visit.
