Four alleged child traffickers were detained by Benue State Police Command agents as they were working near the camp for internally displaced people in North Bank, a suburb of the state capital Makurdi.

This information was revealed in a statement made accessible to journalists in Makurdi on Wednesday by the state police public relations officer, Catherine Anene.

Anene named the alleged traffickers, including Stephen Terungwa, Sughter Akegh, and Atom Gideon, as well as Member Friday, the kingpin’s wife and a co-conspirator.
