Ahmed El-Marzuk, the National Legal Adviser for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has resigned from the NWC of the party.
It was discovered that El-Marzuk resigned on Wednesday as a result of some of his coworkers’ insistence that he do so because of accusations made against him.
A replacement will be chosen at the party’s 12th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting, which is now taking place in Abuja.
Ganduje Appointed National Chairman, Basiru as Secretary By APC NEC
Following concerns about the party’s finances connected to the leaders, the national chairman of the ruling party, Abdullahi Adamu, and the national secretary, Iyiola Omisore, resigned from the party a few weeks prior.
After their resignation, there was a movement for Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of Kano State, to succeed them as the National Chairman of the party.
There are hints that President Bola Tinubu will support Ganduje’s demand to assume the leadership position.
