Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, and Nyesom Wike, the former governor of Rivers State, are currently in a meeting with President Bola Tinubu.
Separately, the former governors arrived at the State House.
El-Rufai arrived at Aso Rock’s presidential wing about 2 p.m., while Wike entered at 1:40 p.m.
The Senate has vetted both of these nominations for ministerial positions.
El-Rufai’s confirmation has been delayed due to an unsubstantiated security concern, but Wike has already received Senate approval.
