In order to prevent crowding and security lapses, he continued, proper security had been put in place, and only the invited members of political parties and the general public would be permitted in.

In response to the news, Kenneth Okonkwo wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the verdict would have an impact on social justice and democracy in Nigeria, Africa, and the entire world.

The Nollywood actor claimed that the outcome of the PEPT case would also determine whether Nigerians would continue to grieve Bola Tinubu’s election as president or would celebrate.

He wrote: “The anticipated judgment of the PEPC on the 6th of September, 2023, will have ramifications and consequences on democracy and social justice in Nigeria, Africa, and the entire world.
