Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has been characterised as an undisciplined individual who seeks to ruin the party by PDP chieftain Dele Momodu.
As a result of his opposition to the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, and support for President Bola Tinubu, Momodu claimed that if he had the authority, he would have dismissed the former governor of Rivers State.
These were mentioned by the PDP Presidential Campaign Council’s Director of Strategic Communications during an interview on Tuesday’s episode of Political Paradigm on Channels Television.

Momodu asserted that the former governor of the Rivers cannot hold everyone to ransom and accused Wike of attempting to ruin the party for his own personal gain.
He said: “I don’t have the power; if I had power, I would have fired him (Wike) long ago.
“Such an unruly person who wants to destroy our party? One individual cannot hold everybody to ransom.
“If we fought the military, we fought the military in this country, Tinubu was part of those who fought the military in this country, and then you will now allow a civilian dictatorship?”
However, the PDP leader insisted that he does not regret Wike’s appointment as a minister by President Bola Tinubu because he made sure the APC candidate won in Rivers state.
