Olubankole Wellington, commonly known as Banky W, a well-known musician from Nigeria, has revealed why he entered politics despite being a pastor.

In a recent interview with BBC, the artist who doubles as a politician and preacher revealed that he did so to show the public that good people with the appropriate motivations can serve the populace and hold public office.

Banky W responded to the passing of well-known Afrobeat artist Ilerioluwa Promise Aloba, aka Mohbad, by saying that due inquiry by the police is required to ascertain the true cause of the singer’s demise.
