The tanker accident and subsequent explosion that resulted in multiple fatalities on the Warri-Benin motorway on Sunday was attributed by Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori to the state’s shoddy federal highways.

In his letter of condolence to the families of the tragic incident’s victims, the governor made this statement.

Twenty people at the very least were burned as a result of the tanker explosion that happened on Sunday near the highway’s Koko junction, as Anaedoonline.ng previously reported.

“While I mourn the deceased, I use this medium to reiterate my earlier call on the Federal Government to save the lives of our people from these harrowing experiences.
