Sociopolitical activist Aisha Yesufu responded to the President Bola Tinubu certificate controversy.
If Tinubu is not removed, Yesufu suggested that Nigerians apologise to Mmesoma Ejikeme, who falsified her Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) results.
The co-convener of BringBackOurGirls, BBOG, claimed in a post on X that Mmesoma ought to receive her scholarship.
The activist questioned Tinubu’s eligibility to serve as president.

According to Yesufu: “If Tinubu is not removed, then Nigeria should apologise to Mmesoma and give her scholarship. If we want to be mad as a Nation then let’s be proudly mad.
“Isn’t Tinubu fraudulently occupying the office of the President not derogatory to Nigerians or is it the certificate forgery saga that is not derogatory?”
Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), had launched an investigation into Tinubu’s purported forgeries.
According to Atiku’s allegations, Tinubu faked the certificate he gave the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

The president, according to him, never attended Chicago State University (CSU).
Contrary to what he claimed, CSU asserted that Tinubu was admitted and received a degree from the university.
