Nyesom Wike, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), has reminded Abuja citizens that he intends to make difficult decisions shortly.
Wike, on the other hand, vowed that his policies will benefit the nation’s capital as a whole.
Residents were advised to be patient with the administration, he said.
The minister made the remarks while meeting with former FCT Senator Philip Aduda of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and All Progressives Congress (APC) contender for the senate seat in the previous election, Zakari Dobi.

According to him, “I urge residents to be patient; we are going to take tough decisions. Residents should not see it as punitive but for the good of the FCT.”
Wike went on to say that President Bola Tinubu has mandated the construction of a minimum of 5km of road in each area council.
Wike, upon taking power, ordered the demolition of many illegal structures around the FCT.
The minister also threatened to revoke undeveloped properties if they were not developed within the specified time range.
