The state Police Commissioner, CP Aderemi Adeoye, issued a sharp statement on Tuesday, expressing his profound disgust of the horrific deed. The CP called the killers cowards for their callous destruction of innocent lives.

He gave his word that justice would be served and that those responsible would pay for their deeds.
“They might think that they have committed a perfect crime and that they would get away with it but they delude themselves,” Adeoye said, assuring that the police were already working on vital clues to unmask the perpetrators.
