The late musician Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has a body. Popular Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has demanded that the Nigerian Police Force release it so that it can be buried.
Late on Friday night, Dikeh bemoaned on Instagram the Force’s negligence and inability to wrap up the inquiry into Mohbad’s contentious death.
The leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) continued, saying that she had given too much of her time, love, and emotions to see the crooner of “Beast and Peace” die in a way that was just.
She wrote, “Give us Mohbad for a befitting burial. We are tired of your carelessness and slowness. If no one speaks, I will.
“I have invested too much of my emotions, time, and love to see this Justice go through. As QM says, give the police more time.
“Honestly, we have given you all the more time than necessary. This is not the case to be swept under. We want Justice.”
In the meantime, the Lagos State Police Command has freed famed Nigerian musician Azeez Fashola, better known by his stage name Naira Marley, and performance promoter Sam Larry from custody.
After fulfilling the requirements of their bail, the two were set free.
Their release was confirmed by Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Command spokesman.
Speaking via Twitter, Hundeyin said, “Naira Marley and Sammy Larry, having met their bail conditions, have been released.”
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Naira Marley and Sam Larry were given N20 million in bail with three sureties by a Magistrate’s Court in Yaba, Lagos State, on November 6.
On October 6, the two were charged and placed under remand for their suspected roles in Mohbad’s dying circumstances.
