On Monday, President Bola Tinubu showed up at the G20 “Compact with Africa” summit location.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will be hosting the event at the Marriot Hotel in Berlin, according to Anaedoonline.ng.
Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; Wale Edun, the Coordinating Minister of the Economy and the Minister of Finance; Dr. Doris Uzoka-Anite, the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment; and Adebayo Adelabu, the Minister of Power, are with him.
At the event, President Tinubu was joined by the leaders of international organisations, bilateral partners, and the heads of state and government of CwA member nations.
The leaders will discuss how to immediately improve commercial and economic relations and will provide specific steps to increase investments in vital sectors including infrastructure, energy, trade, and new technologies, among others.
As he leads Nigeria’s team to the investment summit, President Bola Tinubu will maintain the momentum and continue the mission in light of his well acknowledged push for foreign direct investment in Nigeria.
The fact that the German Chancellor’s invitation to Germany is being honoured in the wake of the German Chancellor’s visit to Abuja and Lagos, Nigeria, from October 29 to October 30, 2023, further demonstrates President Tinubu’s dedication to diplomatic reciprocity.
