Tinubu Reacts To Death Of Former Anambra State Governor, Ezeife

The passing of Chukwuemeka Ezeife, the former governor of Anambra State, has saddened President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Ezeife, 85, passed away at the Federal Medical Centre in Abuja on Thursday at around 6 p.m., according to a previous report from Anaedoonline.ng.

In a statement, Tinubu expressed his condolences for Ezeife’s family and the entire state of Anambra over the tragic loss through his Special Advisor, Ajuri Ngelale.

As he prayed for the beloved dead’s soul to rest, the President urged his family to find comfort in his lasting legacy.

The statement read, “President Bola Tinubu sympathizes with the Ezeife family, the people, and the government of Anambra State on the passing of Chief Chukwuemeka Ezeife, CON, former governor of the state.

“Chief Ezeife, Okwadike of Igbo-Ukwu, was governor of Anambra from 1992 to 1993.

“President Tinubu extols the towering influence of the former federal permanent secretary in Nigeria’s political landscape as well as his leadership credentials, describing his passing as a painful loss.
