Proprietor Shuts School, Flies Abroad with Students WAEC and NECO Fees

The proprietor of “The Lord’s Favour” school in Ibadan, Mr. Sunday Adeyemi, has allegedly vanished with money intended for the students’ WAEC and NECO exam fees, endangering their ability to continue their studies.

The founder of Planet 3R, Adejoke Lasisi, shared a post on Facebook about the upsetting news, which led to the stunning disclosure.

Her post is partially written.”Imagine getting money from all of your students—WAEC and NECO—and using it for JAPA. Some people have no fear of God at all.

The message said that in order to pay for his flight overseas, Mr. Adeyemi had allegedly auctioned off his assets, including both his house and the school.

He bemoaned that, in spite of collecting the funds, the school had not registered the parents’ children for the tests, shattering their dreams.

Adeyemi emphasised that a lot of parents were saddened by the outcome since they had gone to the extent of taking out loans in order to make sure their kids could sit these important tests.

“While everyone has the right to seek opportunities abroad, it should not be at the expense of others, especially when it involves breaching trust and jeopardizing the futures of innocent students”, Adeyemi added.
