President Bola Tinubu Returns to Nigeria from Foreign Trips
The President claims that the new National Assembly reflects the diversity of the nation.
Along with praising the federal lawmakers for working with the executive branch to construct the country, he stated that all Nigerians must contribute to its development in order to ensure that it remains a viable country for future generations.
The new national song, “Nigeria, we hail thee,” which the president had earlier signed into law, was performed by the parliamentarians upon his arrival.
Previously, at separate sessions, the Senate and the House of Representatives enacted legislation changing the national anthem from “Arise, O Compatriots” to “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
