According to reports, armed terrorists assaulted the Nkwo Ibagwa market on Wednesday in Nsukka, which is part of the Igbo-Eze South Local Government Area of Enugu State. The incident resulted in numerous injuries and the destruction of products valued at millions of naira.
In observance of Biafra Heroes Day, which is set for Thursday, May 30, reports state that armed terrorists who were purportedly implementing a sit-at-home order unleashed mayhem on defenceless vendors at the market, destroying their goods and setting fire to every car in sight.

During their searches, the thugs set fire to two tricycles and at least two commercial buses.
There were burnt remnants of cars and tricycles carrying cargo visible throughout the market.
Residents and traders who have been tallying their losses since the incident have been terrified by the news.
In the meantime, attempts to get in touch with DSP Daniel Ndukwe, the public relations officer for the Enugu State Command Police, for remarks on the event at Igbo-Eze were unsuccessful, and he did not return calls.
