Social activist Aisha Yesufu claims that the responses of Nigerians to remarks made by two well-known politicians on the country’s democracy day have revealed the outcome of the fiercely contested 2023 presidential election.

On the occasion of Nigeria’s Democracy Day, Bola Tinubu gave a speech, and Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate for 2023, had an insightful conversation with Arise TV about Nigerian challenges.

In the 2023 presidential contest, Peter Obi and Bola Tinubu both ran. But Obi turned out to be a formidable force in the election, galvanising supporters with cautionary and accountable messages that are reinforced by Citizens.

Aisha Yesufu responded to both speakers’ speeches by saying that the public’s reaction to these occurrences has given rise to a special insight into the results of the election.

Known for her strong opinions on democracy and government, Yesufu noted that the public’s overwhelming response to these speeches and interviews revealed the outcome of the closely contested election.

Taking to her X Handle, she said, “Two people spoke yesterday and from the reaction of the citizens you know who won the 2023 election.”

Reacting to Aisha’s comment, one of her followers, @ jerry9official tweeted, ‘I remember yesterday whilst at work watching the political happenings in the country, the president’s speech came up and how I angrily stopped what I was doing to watch something else Then I got home at night and saw that Peter Obi spoke on arise and I was like Atleast I can listen to something now.“
