Kylian Mbappe has rejoined the French national team training sessions following a nose injury sustained during France’s Euro 2024 opener against Austria. The 25-year-old forward, who was seen with a protective bandage, initially trained alone. His participation in France’s next match against the Netherlands in Leipzig on Friday remains uncertain.

The French Football Federation (FFF) is expected to provide an update on Mbappe’s fitness later today. The injury occurred after a collision with Austrian defender Kevin Danso during an aerial challenge, leading to Mbappe being substituted and subsequently diagnosed with a broken nose at a hospital in Dusseldorf. Despite the injury, Mbappe has returned to the training camp, where a protective mask is being prepared to aid his recovery.  Kevin Danso, also 25, expressed his apologies and wished Mbappe a speedy recovery on social media platform X.
