Severe rainstorms have caused significant flooding at the Toronto home of Canadian rapper Aubrey Graham, better known as Drake. The rapper shared a video on his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, showing the extent of the damage to his 50,000 square-foot mansion, “The Embassy,” designed by Canadian architect Ferris Rafauli.
In the video, Drake’s mansion appears heavily impacted by the flooding. The singer humorously commented on his Instagram Stories that the rushing water “better be espresso martini.” The footage also shows an unidentified man pushing against glass double doors as water poured from what seemed to be a closet into a bathroom.
Toronto has been experiencing record rainfall due to three massive storms, leading to power outages and the displacement of residents across the city. The severe weather has affected many homes and infrastructure, including the luxury residence of the renowned artist.
