Sir Alex Ferguson, the legendary manager of Manchester United, has said that he misses his time spent in that role.
The 2012–2013 season saw the 82-year-old’s departure from the position of manager.
After leading United to their 13th Premier League title in his 27 years at Old Trafford, Ferguson announced his retirement.
Since Ferguson left, United has had difficulty winning, with Manchester City dominating the league for the majority of the previous ten years.

When discussing life after retirement on BBC Breakfast, he commented, “Yeah, I miss it sometimes.”
“I think the first year after retirement, I went to the European final and I said to Cathy ‘this is what I miss’ – big games, the European games.
“So then I went to most of the European finals because I find something I can relate to, something I would like to have done every day.
“Because these are the big events that United should always be involved in.”
