Bobrisky received a six-month prison sentence for naira mutilation in April 2024.

On the recording, the transvestite claimed that his godfather made arrangements for him to serve his sentence in a lodge rather than a prison.

The transvestite responded by calling the widely shared audio clip a hoax, claiming that he had completed his prison sentence.
