President Bola Tinubu is prepared to reorganise his cabinet, the Presidency revealed on Wednesday.
The information was revealed by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Advisor on Information and Strategy, during a press conference held at the State House in Abuja.
He did, however, emphasise that he is unsure of when the changes will occur and that they may occur prior to October 1st.

He said, “The President has expressed his desire to reshuffle his cabinet and he will do it. I don’t know whether he wants to do it before October first and he will surely do it. That is what I will say, but he has not given us any timeline.”
Regarding the effectiveness of the current administration, Onanuga stated that Tinubu had asked all ministers to “go out there and speak about the activities of his administration” during the most recent Federal Executive Council meeting.
According to Onanuga, there have been ministers who are hesitant to talk in public or on television or radio. He hopes that these ministers will overcome their shyness and speak about their work.

“Because the feeling out there is that the government is not doing enough and the government has been doing a lot. And it is up to them to go out there and blow their own trumpet.
“They should go out there and talk about what their ministries have been doing.”
