Nzuko-Ora Nnewi has announced plans to empower over one thousand (1000) less-privilege in the town.
The empowerment is part of the activities to mark the 2024 Nnewi Cultural Festival, which will kick off on 28th August, 2024.
Announcing the plan, the President-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Chief Dr. Maduka Atuenyi said that the empowerment is sponsored by the Chief Executive Officer of KM Oil and Gas, Chief Kenneth Maduakor (Kenneth Azia) and some philanthropic friends.

The beneficiaries will be drawn across the four communities in Nnewi, including the non-Indigenes who are also residents in Nnewi.
The empowerment, which is targeted at women and youths, is geared towards ameliorating the current economic hardship occasioned by the removal of fuel subsidy and inflation of food prices.
According to the Chairman of Nnewi Cultural Festival, Prince Jude Osumuoh, the empowerment is scheduled to hold on 28th August, 2024, at Nkwo Nnewi Triangle (Roundabout).
He commended Chief Kenneth Maduakor and his friends for volunteering to intervene in this critical time that most people don’t know where their next meal will come from, and however saluted Chief Kenneth Maduakor for his consistent over the years with his philanthropic activities in Nnewi.
