Jesutega Onokpasa, a former member of the disbanded All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, chastised Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), on the recent political unrest in Rivers State.
The APC leader accused Wike of causing the problem in Rivers State and asked him to work out any disagreements he may have with the state’s current governor, Siminalayi Fubara, his godson.
As part of efforts to bring peace back to Rivers State, Onokpasa argued that it was disrespectful of President Bola Tinubu to have Wike and Fubara still engaged in political combat.

In an interview with Arise TV, the APC leader stated that party members are already sick of Wike’s antics and advised him to quit these antics and face his job as FCT Minister.
Taking a jab at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Onokpasa stated that while Wike is a member of an opposition party with multiple captains, this is not the case with the APC as Tinubu is in control and all of its members are devoted to him.
As a result, he urged the FCT Minister to show gratitude to the organisation that hired him and give Fubara some space so that he may concentrate on Rivers State governance.
