Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease. He made the disclosure in a video he posted on his verified Twitter handle.
According to the governor, he’s currently asymptomatic and has been self-isolating.

“Today I tested positive for #COVID19. All is well. I’m asymptomatic and have been self isolating. Work continues. Your continued prayers over my well being are most appreciated,” Akeredolu tweeted.
He joins the increasing number of serving governors who have tested positive for the virus.
