Health
The pressures of daily life provide a natural incentive to pace ourselves, and a warm shower or bath could act as a basic boost or relaxant, depending on the time of day.
However, research continues to prove warm water has significant benefits beyond a feel-good factor, with some studies placing its health advantages on par with physical exercise. Here are a few reasons why choosing warm water shouldn’t only be a matter of personal preference. Kick-starts your day and decreases stress.
The heat from the water stimulates the heart to work harder and faster, thereby accelerating blood flow around the body. It’s also been proven to enhance oxytocin levels, which in turn elevates the mood and lowers stress.
According to Neil Morris, a psychologist at the University of Wolverhampton in the United Kingdom, bathing in warm water can significantly advance general psychological wellness.
10 REASON WHY YOUR NOODLES DESERVES TO BE SERVED WITH VEGETABLE
Morris studied 80 people who took a bath with warm water each day for a fortnight and found that it diminished feelings of depression and pessimism while developing a pleasurable, hedonic tone.
A warm shower before bedtime typically soothes the body, mind and nerves. Apart from that, warm water also affects the body’s production of melatonin – the hormone that regulates sleep. At night, the body’s core temperature naturally falls, triggering melatonin production.
A warm shower or bath around bedtime then slightly raises the body temperature, causing it to drop steeply on exiting the bathroom. This prompts a heightened production of melatonin, and more likelihood of a good night’s sleep – the benefits of which are widely recognized.
It lowers blood pressure and promotes muscle healing. Taking a regular warm bath – with its circulation and vascular function advantages – can help reduce blood pressure and stiffen blood vessels.

The effect of heat-induced blood flow on the body is tantamount to a light exercise session. The warmth encourages muscles to expand and contract while loosening joints, tendons and tissues.
Although not an enduring cure for pain, five minutes under warm water can considerably ease pain, spur healing and restrict inflammation. It’s a more convenient alternative than a massage and more organic than medical treatments. Eliminates bacteria.
The elementary reason for having a bath is to cleanse ourselves. Clogged pores lead to blemishes and an accumulation of toxins in the skin.
Warm water opens up skin pores, making it easier to clean out dirt and impurities. The temperature increase also has an adverse effect on most bacteria.

Taking these baths or showers is particularly useful if there’s a wound, as it helps kill bacteria, fend off infection, and promote circulation in the injured area for faster healing. Relieves cough and cold symptoms.
Nasal congestion is a result of inflammation in the nasal passages. Inhaling steam from warm water activates the blood vessels in the face and nose, consequently opening up the airways, as well as loosening phlegm and mucus blockages that could be causing a cough or sore throat.
A warm bath also empowers the immune system to better fight viruses. This list isn’t exhaustive – warm water’s various health merits range from weight loss to controlling diabetes.
As it also has a number of physical wellness benefits, warm water bathing should not be reserved exclusively for cold weather. Warm water is proven to naturally enhance the body and facilitate a sense of calm all year round.

“Many of our staff have been going abroad, doctors, nurses; some resigning, some retiring and even death. We need to replace them since we are having an ever-increasing number of patients coming to the hospital daily,” he said.
According to him, this era of difficulties (socioeconomic), depression, suicide attempts, and drug abuse have made the hospital to have an increased number of patients.
“So, we clearly have an upsurge in the number of patients and very few professionals taking care of them. We direly needed more professional (clinical staff) hands,” he said.
The Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Enugu is the only health institution/facility meant to take care of mentally ill patients in the Southeast.

Take Advantage Of Energy Health Medicine For Chronic Diseases -Expert Urges Nigerians
A Professor of Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM), Dr. Joseph Akpa has urged Nigerians to take advantage of Energy Health Medicine and curative means to tackle chronic diseases.
Akpa, who is with Luminar International College for Health and Alternative Medicines, Awgu in Enugu State, made the call in an interview with newsmen on Sunday.
He noted that the entrance of Energy Health Medicine into the health sector was as a result of dissatisfaction with the level of performance of all the known medical professions in a situation where the medical world have designed diseases as chronic and incurable.
According to him, Energy Health is the beauty of medical and health worlds in the advanced eastern and western countries like India, Britain, Germany, Japan, etc where our people troop daily for medical treatment (medical tourism).
“Here in Energy Health Medicine and curative means, the application of the natural laws of healing is fully adopted.

“The Energy Health Science and Technology scientists discovered that the Almighty God endowed human beings with what we call Energy Centres located in various parts of the body. These centres absorb and radiate universal Energy in and out of the body system.
“The Chinese recognised these thousands of years ago, which they call CHI and is woven in the Chinese medical philosophy of meridians lines of energy flow.
“The Indians also recognised these thousands of years ago which they call PRANA and the Energy line they called CHAKRA. The Japanese recognises this, which they called KI.”
According to him, the physiology states that, when the flow of energy in and out of the Energy centres is balanced, health is achieved.
“If the flow is either depleted or in excess, sickness occurs too but if the flow is cut off by any factor that is what human beings call death.
“In any case, the assignment of the Energy Health physician is to diagnose and detect the Energy centers and lines that are faulty and balance the flow and health is restored except where death has occurred,” he said.
The don said that Energy Health medicine, which is very new not only in Nigeria but also in Africa in general, had study disciplines under it, which are: Magnet, colour, Pyramid, Gem, Music, Yoga, Reiki and Medical Astrology.

MUST READ: See Reasons Why Some Ladies Have Saggy Breasts (Photos)
The women breasts are one of the most sensitive tissues which serves as women’s pride, but most women or younger generation of nowadays are mostly worried about how their breast look, preferably, most ladies wish and wants their breast firm and stands.
Having a saggy breast may be worrisome to some ladies while many ladies may not even border, but whether your breasts are firm or saggy shouldn’t really be a thing of concern because all humans are not made or born with equal skin firmness.
What Causes Saggy Breasts?
Genetic Factor
One of the most intrinsic factors is the gene. Genetically speaking, a little baby girl who was born may tend to develop a saggy breast later in the future if her mother has saggy breasts, no doubt about that, most women with very tender/soften skin tissues tend to have saggy breasts than those with the hardened skin layer.
Bra
Not regularly wearing a bra to support yourself up there might make your breasts saggy. The Bras in one way or the other tends to helps women to raise their breasts, especially ‘Push Ups’. Women’s breasts are made of fatty tissues which mostly consist of proteins, so as you debar from regularly wearing a bra, there are possibilities of making your breast become saggier. So camisole only cannot do, get a Shaped sized Bra.
Smoking
It’s been established that people who are more fond of smoking tend to have saggy breasts than those who don’t smoke, Smoking cause the collagen level in the skin to break down thereby causing the dropping of breasts.
Poor Excercise
Not having regular exercise is another contributing factor for saggy breast, for those with huge/large breasts, they possess more fatty breast content, thereby, doing a regular exercise will help you to burn more fatty content/calories which in turn will make your breasts to become reduced, sizely shaped and bit of firm.
Pregnancy
During the pregnancy period of woman, they possess larger, saggy breast than those who aren’t pregnant, it’s normal this happens during pregnancy period, because the milk duct have been filled with colostrum, and their oestrogen levels are very high during this time, the colostrum serves as breast milk to the Unborn child.

So, no cause for alarm, when, you deliver the child, the breasts might probably go back to normal if u are a woman with a thick skin or become less saggy because, your newborn baby draws the milk from the fat breasts, in return, this makes your breast less saggy. That’s why you see the nursing mother mostly with saggy breasts.
Regular Abortion
Abortion is not good, but a lady who does regular abortion/use pills to prevent pregnancies may tend to have more saggy breasts than those who don’t, why?
Because during the first trimester period of being pregnant, your breasts tend to be filled with milk ducts which will be expecting the foetus inside you to feed on as you deliver, but unfortunately when you abort, the oestrogen level, colostrum level, and other essential nutrients which were present in the breasts fall back to the latter state, thereby relaxing your full-grown milk breasts and makes it saggy.
Your Sleeping Position
Sleeping on your side may cause breasts to sag more over time since one will dangle downward and its ligaments can become stretched.
Snoozing on your back, on the other hand, can help reduce signs of aging, and because the weight of your breasts are fully supported on your chest, it may help them retain their perkiness
Old Age
Be quite sure that as you age, your skin firmness level continues to drop, so even if you have firm breasts before, be prepared to be loosing it gradually due to age barrier in which your fatty firm tissue won’t be able to hold firm anymore.

Incessant Smooching
This may be funny but true, as a man, you should make your woman look the way you want her to be, am talking of management here, Some men can smooch or squeeze anything over the chest, but caution must be taken.
As a woman’s stomach is bound to enlarge during her pregnancy is the same for the breasts, breasts are bound to contract and relax, during the horny period, the opposite spouse who tends to hungrily smooch/draws or in unstable state or manner squeezes the breasts of her spouse may gradually be relaxing the fatty content of the woman.

There is tendency for the breasts to become more relaxed than usual if they are wrongly squeezed, which in turn makes the breasts become more relaxed and saggy.
Therefore, whenever you are there, be gentle with the two precious God’s gift of nature on your woman’s chest so that your ignorant horny attitudes won’t make you detest your wife beautiful two pointed apples on her chest later in the future.

Shocking: Pregnant Woman Dies At Child Birth. See Reason
There is a trending story of an expectant mother who has died during childbirth because she together with her husband refused cesarean section on the instructions of their pastor.
According to the social media user who shared the news, the husband of the late woman is his friend and two weeks ago, the wife was informed during a scan that because of some complications coupled with the child’s weight; she has to give birth through cesarean section.
When the pastor of the couple who married just last year, was informed about the scan results and recommendations from the doctor, he advised them against it.
The pastor assured them God wants them to give birth as a natural couple and not short cuts through a cesarean section which he described as wrong just like many other pastors describe it as evil.
The wife went into labor last week and neither the mother nor the baby came out alive. Both died attempting to give birth the natural way against the doctor’s advice.
Yaw Asamoah Akowuah, the facebook user who made the post and has started cesarean section is not evil campaign wrote on Facebook:

Last week, I shared a post on Caesarean Section and how some men of God have made it look so sinful and an abomination for any pregnant woman to go through CS. The comments, both on the post and in my box has left me thinking. It’s been revealing.
A friend lost the wife last week because, at church, their pastor had told him not to allow the wife to have CS.
During their last scan, it emerged that owing to the weight of the baby and how the child was positioned (hope I used the medical term), it was advisable that they have the child through CS. Any attempt to have the baby through the so-called normal process would be a disadvantage to both mother and baby.
My friend spoke to their pastor, and he told him to have faith for the Lord did not intend for the lady to go through that process. To cut the long story short, they lost both mother and baby. They got married only last year November. Lady is just 29.
Sometimes, at church, I hear some prayer leaders and pastors say “no pregnant woman here will go through surgery before she delivers”. When I hear this, I ask myself, since when did surgery become evil? Why do we, in the name of God, put fear into pregnant women, who could have gone through CS and saved themselves and their babies?
CS is not evil. This good God we serve gave men the knowledge to develop this procedure. CS is from God.
Can we start a Social Media Campaign with the hashtag #CaesareanSectionisNotEvil
HEALTH: These Are Eight Diseases You Can Get From Kissing
This post is not meant to scare you or make you anxious for every time you need to kiss a loved one. Kissing is no doubt one of the loving ways to show affection but what many may not realise is that intimate kisses that involve exchanging saliva can often transfer illnesses.
According to HealthGrove, it used data from the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control to find eight diseases that are transmitted through saliva.
These are the diseases that you can get through kissing:
1. Mononucleosis
Popularly called “the kissing disease”, it is caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). Infection and related symptoms da last from one to two months. Symptoms are very similar to those of the flu and include a fever, sore throat, fatigue, muscle weakness and swollen lymph glands. There is no treatment for mononucleosis but staying hydrated, resting and taking medication often helps.
2. Cytomegalovirus
This disease spreads through saliva, as well as through blood, urine, semen and breast milk. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) is a virus in the herpes family. and like all herpes viruses, it remains dormant in the body for long periods. Symptoms can include fatigue, fever, muscle aches and, in more serious cases, pneumonia, encephalitis, seizures and visual impairment.
3. Gum Disease
Gum disease is also known as periodontitis and gingivitis and although it is not spread through kissing, the bad bacteria that cause it can. To avoid gum disease, regular brushing and flossing can serve as a defense.

4. Herpes
Once oral herpes is contracted, it stays with you forever. Oral herpes is transmitted through direct contact between an infected area and broken skin or a mucous membrane. During an outbreak, symptoms usually last between 8-10 days on average and the cold sores heal on their own.
5. Meningitis
This disease can be spread from one person to another via respiratory secretions. Symptoms include fever, headache, stiff neck, nausea and vomiting. This disease has no medication but staying healthy with a strong immune system helps to get the better of it.
6. Mumps
Mumps affects the salivary glands and causes them to swell. It usually spreads via airborne droplets from the nose or throat of an infected person. Symptoms typically include fever, headache, muscle aches, fatigue and loss of appetite.
7. Rubella
Referred to as the German measles, rubella is caused by a virus transmitted through an infected person’s sneeze or cough. Symptoms include fever and rash and clear up in two to three days. The rubella vaccine can prevent this disease.
8. Influenza
Influenza is spread via droplets made when people with the flu cough, sneeze or talk. Symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, body aches and fatigue. Most people recover on their own in less than two weeks.
