The serene town of Urualla in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State was transformed into a vibrant hub of activity as prominent businessman and industrialist Chika Emenike, CEO of Kotec Group and Tummy Tummy Noodles, alongside his brother Ogochukwu Emenike, the CEO of Savemore Marketplace Supermaket and other siblings, laid their beloved mother, Ezinne Patricia Titi Emenike to rest in an elaborate ceremony.
The funeral, held on 7th of January 2024, was nothing short of a grand celebration of life, drawing top personalities from various walks of life, including business moguls, political leaders, tech innovators, and entertainment stars. The event resembled a cultural festival as it showcased the rich traditions of Urualla, with colorful attire, traditional dances, and elaborate decorations from Damas Events adding to the grandeur.

Chika Emenike and his siblings spared no expense in honoring their late mother, Ezinne Patricia Titi Emenike, who was described as a pillar of strength and a source of inspiration for the family. The ceremony began with a solemn church service at St. Michael Catholic Church, Urualla Imo State (Church built by Kotec and his bother, Ogochukwu Emenike and dedicated to their both parents) that highlighted her virtues and contributions to her community.
The reception that followed was a spectacle to behold, with dignitaries from across Nigeria gracing the occasion. Business leaders, including some of the biggest names in Nigeria’s corporate world, praised Chika Emenike for his entrepreneurial acumen and his commitment to family values.
Among the political figures present were top-ranking officials who commended the Emenike family for their dedication to their community. Entertainment stars added glamour to the event, with live performances by popular artists keeping the crowd entertained well into the night.

Some of the individuals that graced the occassion include, Chief Cletus Ibeto (Omekannaya), Chief Innocent Chukwuma (Innoson), Senator representing Imo West Constituency, Senator Osita Izunaso, Member representing Ideato Federal Constituency at the green chamber, Hon. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, Obi Uruagu Nnewi, Obi Afam Obi, Chief Innocent Okoli (Organizer), Mr. Humphery Ngonadi, Visa Oil CEO and many others. However, many groups and clubs graced the occassion to honour Late Mrs Emenike. Some of the groups and clubs include, Imperial Club, Kotec Warrior and others.
Speaking at the event, Chika Emenike expressed gratitude to all who came to honor his late mother. “Our mother was a beacon of love and strength, and today we celebrate her life and legacy. We are overwhelmed by the love and support shown to us during this time,” he said.
