Eze Joe Ochulor, the traditional leader of the Otulu community in Imo State’s Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government Area, has passed away.
It was discovered by Anaedoonline.ng that this occurred less than a day after Ochulor was kidnapped from his palace.
The monarch’s lifeless body was discovered by the road in Aboh Mbaise LGA, near the Chokoneze-Mbutu Road.

The town is in grief following the terrible loss.
Ochulor passed away shortly after the assassination of Chiedoziem Anyanwu, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) ward chairman in the Ife/Akpodim/Chokoneze Ward of the same Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA, in front of his spouse.
He was demanded to be seen by the gunmen who had arrived.
Once they were certain he was the man they had been searching for, they shot him and made sure he was dead before they left the area.
In other events, two traders are said to have been abducted by some unidentified gunmen who broke into a market in the Mchia town in the Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.

Nonetheless, the traders have been successfully rescued by the Nigeria Police Force’s State Command. Journalists were informed by the family of one of the kidnapped traders—who desired to remain anonymous—that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N10 million.
The family reported the event right away to the LGA’s headquarters police station in Ugba.
