Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers, would eventually become the president of Nigeria, according to Professor Jerry Gana.
Wike was counseled by the PDP leader not to go against the platform in opposition to the results of the presidential primaries.
The advice was given by the former information minister on Friday at the start of a flyover in Obio/Akpor.
Gana argued that Wike would be a strong contender for president of Nigeria due to his continued emphasis on development initiatives.

He continued by saying that the governor’s initiatives have demonstrated that strong leadership can enable excellent government.
“I am not a prophet but you have a bright future. If some people have disappointed you this time around, don’t worry, your future is bright.
“Age is on your side. You will preside over Nigeria someday”, the politician said.
Gana urged the people to vote for PDP Rivers candidate Siminialayi Fubara, “so that the good things he (Wike) is doing can be continued”.
They were urged not to “make the error of tossing away” their votes to a different party in 2023 by the ex-minister.

Aminu Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto, resigned in favor of Atiku Abubakar in May, and Wike was denied the PDP’s presidential nomination.
