There has been conflict between the Nigerian government and labour unions around the introduction of a new minimum wage for employees.
The Nigerian government suggested N60,000 as the new national minimum wage, but labour is asking N250,00.
About a month has passed since the President announced that he will present an executive measure pertaining to the national minimum wage to the National Assembly.
