Lagos Police Give Update On Mohbad’s Autopsy
On September 21, 2023, in response to appeals from Nigerians seeking to know how he died, his body was dug up for an autopsy by the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, or LASUTH.
But because the autopsy did not identify the cause of death, his family disapproved of the findings. She also begged the presiding magistrate of the coroner’s inquiry to make sure that the court receives an independent toxicology report prior to the authorities receiving the final report.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, Mohad’s family and solicitors requested a second autopsy, and the Ikorodu magistrate court granted their request.
