Nnewi Town Union body, Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, has constituted an ad hoc committee to investigate all federal government-allocated projects in Nnewi.
The committee, which has members from the four (4) communities in Nnewi, was charged with the responsibility to track the implementation of federal government projects in Nnewi.
The President-General of Nzuko-Ora Nnewi, Dr. Maduka Atuenyi, while dissolving the former committee, urged the new committee to carefully look into the national budget especially that of various MDAs (Ministries, Departments, and Agencies) and identify all projects allocated to be done in Nnewi over the years, and track the implementation.
Speaking further, he advised members of the Committee, who he described as men of integrity, to work with honesty in the best interest of Nnewi and not to allow any interest or individual to influence them.
He promised to give them all the necessary information and documents to work with to ensure that they report back to Nzuko-Ora Nnewi within the quickest possible time.
Members of the Committee are Pastor Ifeanyi Ejimbe as the Chairman, Ezeakukwu Emmanuel Nsoedo, Chief Michael Igwebe, Nnaemeka Okoli, Onwudiwe O.C., Okongwu Promise, Ejidike Sylvester, and Uchenna Beige.
