President Bola Tinubu is set to leave Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, at the invitation of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo. The visit was confirmed by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, in a statement released on Tuesday.
During the visit, President Tinubu will hold discussions with President Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa in Malabo, focusing on critical bilateral issues, particularly in the areas of oil and gas and security. The two leaders are expected to sign several agreements aimed at strengthening cooperation between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea.
The statement also mentioned that President Tinubu will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and other key members of his cabinet. These officials will be involved in the signing of agreements and exploring opportunities to enhance bilateral relations between the two nations.
