Gossip is idle talk or rumor, especially about the personal or private affairs of others; the act is also known as dishing or tattling.
This is one of the tangent reasons several men will never dream of leaving in a Face-me I Face-You type of apartment not to talk of marrying a sit at home house wife.
These women got engaged in a huge disgraceful drama right within the neighborhood because of gossip. We learnt that one woman sprayed acidic rumor about her female neighbor shamefully sleeping around with men in the neighborhood.
The rumor eventually got to the third party and she let all hell loose on the lady who peddled the falsehood against her. According to eyewitness, fiercely confronted the lady and lost her temper.
In the quarrel that ensued between them the story had it that the both ladies vomited and exposed all dirty secrets about themselves to the extent it nearly resulted in a fight if not that spectators intervene to save the day.
You see? The major backbone of gossip is idleness!!! Because any busy woman wouldn’t have the time to nurse such an acidic thoughts about her neighbor, not to even think of saying it out.
