In comparison to the N436.33 for which the dollar was exchanged earlier on September 23, the rate represents an increase of 0.08 percent.
At the closure, the open indicative rate was N435.67 per $1.

The highest rate recorded during Monday’s trading was N441 to the dollar; it eventually ended at N436.
In Monday’s trading, the Naira was exchanged for as little as N423 to the dollar.
On Monday, transactions at the official Investors and Exporters window totaled 78.10 million dollars.
This comes following the Naira’s recent small loss against the dollar.
