Former Assistant Inspector General of Police Hakeem Odumosu and ex-chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Musiliu Akinsanya, well known as MC Oluomo, have been named as the head of Lagos State’s Parks Management Committee by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
In March, MC Oluomo’s son took to social media to congratulate his father on his appointment, only hours after the National Union of Road Transport Workers had suspended him (NURTW).
“Congratulations, boss, Alh. King Musillu Akinsanya Ayinde,” he wrote. The Lagos State Transportation, Parks, and Garages Management Committee is headed by the GM/MD. “Oye Amori OOOO” says the narrator.

The Lagos State administration retaliated by denying Akinsanya any employment.
Gboyega Akosile, Sanwo-Chief Olu’s Press Secretary, claimed the story was fake and should be dismissed.
“MC Oluomo’s son does not work for the government and hence cannot be quoted as speaking for us on this topic,” Akosile added. There isn’t anything like it.”

The appointment, according to the Lagos State administration, was made to avoid a hole in the state’s commercial vehicle operations management.
According to the announcement, MC Oluomo will serve as the committee’s chairman, while Odumosu will function as the committee’s Liaison Officer with the government.
