Eleven governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) under the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) paid a visit to the party’s former National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu, on Thursday.
The governors were led by the forum’s chairman, Senator Hope Uzodimma, according to news reports.
The eleven PGF members paid Adamu a visit at his apartment in Abuja to express their gratitude for his leadership.
According to sources at the governor’s mansion, the governors praised Adamu’s leadership for bringing the party to victory in the 2023 general election.

According to the source, they also praised his bravery in resigning in the interests of the party, while urging him to continue engaging in party activities despite the current episode.
“They thanked him for leading the party to success at the presidential and governorship elections in many states. They told him that they are the products of his success during the general elections,” the source said.
Confirming the foregoing, Adamu himself stated on the platform that they came to meet him and express their gratitude for his leadership.
Governors from Katsina, Ebonyi, Sokoto, Niger, Gombe, Benue, Jigawa, Imo, Ogun, Kebbi, and the acting governor of Ondo State were among those present at Adamu’s residence.
Remember that Adamu resigned on Sunday night due to an internal crisis and corruption allegations brought against him.
