The governing All Progressives Congress (APC) will launch its screening committees for House of Representatives, Senate, and Governorship aspirants, who would be screened today by 12 p.m.
Sulaiman Argungu, the party’s National Organizing Secretary, published a statement about the development.
The screening committee will be inaugurated at Fraser Suites in Abuja, according to Argungu.
He went on to say that following that, the screening of governorship, house of representatives, and Senate candidates will begin.
The screening for House of Representatives hopefuls will begin at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at the Zeus Paradise Hotel in Abuja, according to Argungu.
He stated that Senate and Governorship hopefuls will be screened on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Fraser Suites in Abuja at 10 a.m.
In other news, twenty-five presidential candidates have successfully filed their APC expression of interest and nomination papers and will now face the ruling party’s vetting panel.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, 25 of the 29 people who purchased the forms would be screened over the course of two days.
The APC has set Friday, May 13th, 2022 as the deadline for all forms to be submitted.
