NNEWI: NWOSU, OKAFOR REACT TO THE OUTCOME OF PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION
The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for the Anambra State House of Assembly, Nnewi North Constituency, Hon. Ben Chuks Nwosu; and his All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, counterpart, Nonso Okafor, have reacted to the outcome of the February 23 presidential election held across the country.
The duo, who were guests at a career day celebration organised at the Christ the Way Secondary School, Nnewi, last weekend, described the outcome of the polls as a caricature and total deviation from the democratic norms and principles.
According to Ben Chuks Nwosu, “PDP won the presidential election. It dosen’t matter what INEC pronounced. Buhari knows deep down in his heart that he did not win. PDP will challenge the process at the court and win.
“The process was a charade; and it will be reversed”.
On his own part, Nonso Okafor, aka Smart, praised voters in Nnewi and the South East for turning out in their great numbers to vote. He said however that a lot of work still need to be done to get the Nigerian electoral process right.
