Peter Obi, the Labour Party (LP) candidate, gave additional insight on what Nigerians might anticipate from his government if he is elected President in 2023.
According to Anaedoonline.ng, Obi addressed during his party’s presidential campaign event in Makurdi, Benue State’s capital, on Wednesday.
The former Anambra State Governor promised to address the nation’s numerous difficulties, saying that Nigerians can hold him accountable for all of his pledges.

Addressing the rally gathering, Obi promised to visit every state in the country to solve their problems, emphasizing that governors would no longer have to be the ones who visited him in Abuja.
“Everything I say today, take it. Hold us responsible. We will start building a new Nigeria where there will be law, peace and order,” he said.
He added that he will “go to every state and start solving their problems.
“I assure you, we will secure every inch of Benue State. Those in IDP camps will go back to their homes. Farmers will go back to their farms. We will support them to increase their production.”
Obi promised to keep Nigeria peaceful, united, and stable. He promised that his administration will shift Nigeria away from consumption and toward production.

Nigeria isn’t working because “bad individuals who don’t know anything are there wasting everyone’s time,” he claims.
He also committed to address the concerns of insecurity by providing the necessary support to security operatives in order to keep the country safe and cleanse it of criminal elements.
Following campaigning in Nasarawa and Benue, Obi and his team are likely to travel to Niger State.
